The East Bay Leadership Council (EBLC) invites you to the Threads of Hope awards ceremony. EBLC and Diablo Magazine are collaborating and will carry on the 12-year legacy of the East Bay Philanthropy Awards and celebrate through stories of great works and great generosity at Threads of Hope. The mission of the East Bay Leadership Council is to provide advocacy on public policy issues affecting the economic vitality and quality of life in the Greater East Bay region.
Everyone is invited to join on Wednesday December 6th from 5:30 - 7:30 PM at the Lesher Center for the Arts, 1601 Civic Drive in Walnut Creek to recognize community volunteers and philanthropists in the East Bay. The annual Threads of Hope awards celebrates individuals who make the East Bay community a better place through volunteerism and philanthropy. This year's honorees have been nominatted for demonstrating one or more of the following values in their philanthropic endeavors: Equity, Resilience, Creativity. Compassion, Risk-taking and Sustained Commitment. Join in to honor this year's changemakers: Chris Bono, Contra Costa Humane Society; Pam Montana, Alzheimer's Association; Nic Yerondopoulos, The Taylor Family Foundation; Lisa Pellegrini, Danville Children's Guild; and Eric Rudney, Business Leader, Philanthropist. The Threads of Hope honorees will also be featured in the December issue of Diablo Magazine.
